Latino Health Collaborative presents the Healthy Muscoy Festival!

To celebrate the community, health, and Earth Day, our extension, Latino Health Collaborative (LHC), is working with the county of San Bernardino to present the Healthy Muscoy Festival. The Healthy Muscoy Festival is the first event that the community hosts as part of the Healthy Communities effort in the County. The primary goal for this event is to increase health awareness and motivate individuals and families to engage in a positive movement towards health. This festival is going to be free to the public while offering the some educational information and health services to the community. A few services that will be offered will be general health screenings, blood pressure, and safety information. In addition to some of the health services provided there will be free food, entertainment from local schools, Health Corps student cook off, and a Zumba seminar.

This amazing community event will be taking place at the Inland Empire Job Corps Center in Muscoy on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
