Latino Health Collaborative
The Latino Health Collaborative is a culturally responsive initiative led by Reach Out, dedicated to advancing mental health equity across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Through education, awareness, and empowerment, LHC works to break the stigma surrounding mental illness in Latino communities while improving access to mental health resources and services.
Building Healthier, More Resilient Latino Communities
Key Focus Areas
- Mental Health Education: Delivering bilingual workshops and campaigns to help communities understand mental health, mental illness, and the impact of stigma.
- Cultual Competence in Care: Training providers to better serve Latino populations by addressing language, cultural, and systemic barriers.
- Community Engagement & Healing: Organizing Healing Circles, support groups, and train-the-trainer programs to foster resilience and holistic healing.
- Access to Resources: Mapping and promoting mental health services across the Inland Empire to increase visibility and use of available supports.
