Social Emotional Support and Learning
With support from Chaffey Joint Union High School District, Reach Out’s Youth & Student Wellness department established a new Intervention Specialist team to serve as a support for school-wide mental health/wellness. The Intervention Specialist team works collaboratively with school sites to promote a positive school climate with a focus on mental health prevention, intervention, and case management.
Intervention Specialists provide direct services, consultation, and outreach to youth experiencing substance use or other forms of behavior, detrimental to personal, social, or academic success.
