Who We Serve

Potential Partners and Community Members

One of the primary tasks of the Morongo Basin Community Coalition during 2021 was addressing substance abuse, specifically opioids, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. Reach Out worked with the coalition to distribute material in the form of online videos and infographics. Reach Out also used an existing community needs assessment to draft a request to the California Department of Health Care Services. The request asked for Naloxone kits for use in drug overdose cases. The result is that Reach Out will receive 168 Naloxone kits for distribution to the proper agencies.
